I will start my review with saying that this has been one of the very best buying experiences I have ever had.<\/p>

We have welcomed our sweet Lily Rose Spoodle puppy home yesterday. After around nine months or so of eagerly awaiting her arrival, the moment we finally held her in our arms was everything we dreamed of and more!<\/p>

From the very beginning, it was clear to us that Lily Rose was not just raised with professionalism, but with genuine love, attention, and care. The gentle way she responds to us, her calm confidence, and her overall well-being speak volumes about the kind of environment she came from. It is so evident that she was treated as family nurtured, socialised, and cherished before she came into “our forever home”.<\/p>

The puppy programs that Bespoke provide are outstanding in every way and there were times we thought we had seen the peak of the programs and then came some more!

Kym you are to be congratulated for the 8 weeks you spent preparing our Lily for her new life with us. We cannot imagine the behind-the-scenes dedication it took with you and your lovely family helpers through every stage of her early life, to ensure she would grow into such a healthy, happy, and affectionate little soul and I refer once again to the many programs you have in place, both the physical learning and medical vet checking along the way.<\/p>

Kym and the team at Bespoke Spoodles have been the most kind, generous, ethical, patient and professional people we have ever come across – in any business!<\/p>

About 18 months ago, I sent an email to Kym outlining our lifestyle and asking her if she thought Spoodles would be a good fit for us. I was expecting a one line reply and a sales pitch – what I got was over an hour on the phone with a wonderful woman who clearly cares about putting the right people with the right dogs – not necessarily hers!
I never once felt pressured to pick a spoodle (or to pick Bespoke Spoodles). Kym spoke very highly of other breeds and breeders, and rather than directing me anywhere, she helped me understand what to look for and why, what to ask the breeder I chose and why she thought those criteria were important.<\/p>

I went away from that phone call feeling supported, not pressured, and I certainly didn\u2019t feel like I needed to rush the process. I continued my due diligence for the next few weeks, and found something odd – there were quite a few \u201cBespoke\u201d knock offs!<\/p>

Just like store brands try to imitate a quality products\u2019 packaging, there were almost identical logos, motos, \u201ccurriculums\u201d and buzzwords on their profiles. They might have cute photos, but I have now learned, if they can\u2019t explain why they are doing it and produce records – run!<\/p>

These copycats might seem like a good way to score the same pup for a slight discount, but please take it from me: this early stage is crucial. Do not take the chance. What you save upfront will seem like nothing when you spend almost two decades paying more for everything: health and joint defects they didn\u2019t screen for (and aren\u2019t covered by insurance), longer with the groomer (who hates you!) boarding for holidays because your friends and family refuse to take them, vet call outs or anaesthetic for basic treatments, home repairs and upgrades due to destructive behaviour and constant remedial training for reactivity and behavioural issues.<\/p>

Bespoke Spoodles aren\u2019t close to us, and weren\u2019t known to us before starting this process. But after looking at their website, socials, reviews and resources, there was no way we were going to pick anyone else. At over 2hrs away, I was one of the closest, with two of Teddy\u2019s litter mates going to Adelaide! Take the hint.<\/p>

It is worth every cent to be part of a program that genuinely puts the welfare of both the wonderful mumma dogs and their pups at the core of everything they do. And the proof is in their puppies!
Our gorgeous pup Teddy is the third dog we have brought home. We had high expectations, but were truly blown away by his calm and confident and friendly nature, along with his aptitude for learning.
In his first week he has mastered toilet training, crate training and place. He has learned commands for sit, down and stay.<\/p>

He has calmly met toddlers, children, teens and adults, a safe elderly dog, a herd of goats and the neighbours chickens (not one bark!).
He has not reacted to the leaf blower, wheelie bin, hair dryer, blender, car, scooters or me being very clumsy in the kitchen (he did not react at all when I dropped a full cutlery basket onto the tile floor and promptly swore my head off). Not to mention calmly sitting in his place while kids scream at each other across the house as school holidays are in full swing.<\/p>

None of this is an accident. The amount of planning, care, support and personal attention that Kym puts into making sure Bespoke Spoodles are ready for the world and that their families are set up for success is beyond compare.<\/p>

The health screenings, selections of breeding pairs, temperament testing, ENS and ESI, owner education, phone calls, facetimes, training demonstrations, puppy health checks and endless video tips, tricks, recipes and how to\u2019s are just some of the things that go into sending you home with the puppy of your dreams.<\/p>

Kym is the real deal, and it is not uncommon to find a video response to your question featuring Kym in her pjs and a cup of tea! She is generous with her time to a fault, but my goodness you\u2019ll reap the benefits.<\/p>

From one week old, Kym welcomes her Bespoke families into her actual home, where not only can you meet some very adorable pups, but you get to meet the mother dog and see the environment they are raised in.<\/p>

Gorgeous Gracie was calmly trotting around Kym and Michael\u2019s home with their own spoodle Coby, and it was like they were having a girls day at a resort and spa! The girls were all sociable, well mannered and calm. All the adult spoodles we met during our visits had gorgeous natures, and their owners would often pop in to chat and answer any questions.<\/p>

Bespoke Spoodles use a Guardian Family model for their breeding dogs, meaning that the gorgeous mother dogs already have their own loving family – they aren\u2019t valued solely for the pups they produce and discarded once they meet their capacity. This is one of the reasons we chose Bespoke. They are clearly very loved and comfortable in their second home.<\/p>

In fact, during one of our visits there had been a small complication with a newborn litter. Kym and her family did not hesitate for a second, authorising their specialist reproductive team at QVS to take any steps necessary to ensure the pups receive the pedantic and specialist care for as long as they needed – no cost benefit analysis, no weighing up, just a blank cheque to do whatever was necessary to ensure their wellbeing.<\/p>

To me, that is what it means to be a truly ethical breeder. To stand by the lives that you have decided to bring into the world, and to value the wellbeing of the puppies and mother dog more than profit.<\/p>

After looking locally for a spoodle breeder we decided to widen our search. We stumbled across Bespoke Spoodles through the RightPaw website.<\/p>

Finding an ethical breeder was of utmost importance to us, and after 1 phone call with Kymberley I knew we had found our match.<\/p>

As we travelled through the Bespoke journey we felt a part of the entire process. No smoke and mirrors, just complete transparency with regular messages, phone calls, photos and videos throughout the entire whelping and puppy journey. Weekly visits (or video calls if unable to attend) with the puppies in Kymberley\u2019s home means bonds are formed, allowing for a smooth transition of the pup into their new family.<\/p>

It is hard to put into words the experience of welcoming a bespoke puppy into your family. Kymberley and Michael welcome you into their home and lives. You are part of every step of the process as they document and share so many incredible memories with you. We received so many updates, photos and videos of the litter and our pup.
We had an idea as to the gender\/colour pup we had hoped for but it became very evident that it\u2019s better to keep and open heart and trust that Kymberley will call on her deep experience to match you with the right pup for you. Trust the process. I know we ended up with the little angel pup best suited for us.<\/p>

Kymberley has created an amazing community with her litter FB groups, play dates and beyond. It\u2019s been wonderful to meet the other families and continue to share experiences and photos beyond gotcha day.<\/p>

In terms of support, there is seemingly nothing Kymberley won\u2019t do to ensure you and your family are ready for pup. From the bespoke bible and videos tips to sharing FB marketplace items to save you money, she is so experienced and connected within the community. You will be educated and connected to the best trainers and products that make your life easier (and importantly what not to buy). This support extends far beyond gotcha day. One small example is Kymberley calling to check in on Cody after he was a bit unsettled after his vaccination.<\/p>

If you are local, the opportunity to visit the litter and get to know their little personalities is a privilege. I know we would have chosen differently without this opportunity. This time with your pup also makes the transition to home easier as your pup is familiar with you.
Kym is transparent and operates with integrity. Her responsiveness is incredible, how she keeps across things is super human. Lovely Michael (ever the man behind the force that is Kymberley) is a kindhearted soul who loves and nurtures the pups.
It\u2019s wonderful how involved the guardian families are in this process. Obviously carefully chosen by Kymberley, they are so generous with their time and advice. It was a pleasure to get to know Renee and Kej, the wonderful guardians of Pepper and Oakley.<\/p>

Hand on heart, these are exceptional puppies by a breeder who puts every effort in to raising them. I\u2019ve been looking into getting another puppy for quite a while and visited many websites, Facebook pages and groups etc. There are a lot of breeders out there now but how to choose?<\/p>

After contacting Kimberley at Bespoke Spoodles I knew I had found the right breeder and we are now the proud parents to Miss Sadie. Kimberley involves the new owners before handover with regular updates, messages, pics and Facetime chats. For those lucky enough to live nearby there are playdates where families can get to know their puppy. (As we live interstate, we had Facetime.) Kimberley has fabulous whelping pens that become the most wonderous play-centres for the puppies. They have lots of play equipment and toys and plenty of space to find a quiet spot to nap. Being inside a family home they are exposed to everyday noises, including different types of music, sights and sounds. Mum can take a break from the pups and spend time with her humans at any time.<\/p>

Our little Sadie is a sweet natured, smart and loving little girl. She is settling in beautifully. She is confident, playful, and yet very relaxed. She is learning our daily routines and getting to know our other dogs and working on endearing herself to the cat. You can see the work Kimberley and her daughter Em have put in since Sadie and her siblings were born.<\/p>

Kymberley and her family have been beyond amazing to deal with as we used her gorgeous boy Brodie as our stud. She is always willing to help with any concerns or questions and such a good mentor. I can\u2019t believe how far we\u2019ve come since January, a very thorough introduction phone call to now, 5 gorgeous spoodle babies.<\/p>

Our journey started when we met in person on the 5th of March where we both travelled to QVS Stafford heights at 6am for a \u201chot date\u201d. We had a successful TVI and Mr Brodie performed very well. The next day I drove down to kymberley to attempt a natural mating. She welcomed me into her home and was so flexible with timing of my visit. As the natural mating didn\u2019t result in a tie kymberley went above and beyond and was willing to meet the next day for a second TVI. Since our \u201chot dates\u201d the communication has been amazing and we celebrated over the phone when we found out Stella was expecting and again when we found out there was a bonus puppy<\/p>

Stella whelped her 5 baby spoos naturally on Thursday 5th of May and kymberley was right there only a message\/call away enthusiastically awaiting the news. I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better stud to use and I feel so welcomed by bespoke spoodles.
